Guest Comments

"Davina the caretaker was very cheerful and helpful about our small problem. The house was very comfortable and the conservatory was an added bonus. Davina was easy to contact if needed. We did think the owner should give the garden some tic, for a party of six we thought the fridge and freezer should be bigger. The wardrobe in twin upstairs bedroom was a little unsteady and we would have liked recycling a bags. Other than that the house was lovely and we were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather. Thanks for lovely holiday. The Busby’s, Oxford. July 2021"

"The location makes Suncroft very special, out of the way, at the end of a private road, so no through traffic, and the view of the beach is stunning. We actually stayed the week before the review saying about odd bits of maintenance needing doing and we do agree with all the points made in that review. We also had the TV remote not working, which wasn't an issue as we hardly watched anything, other than Wimbledon. Praa sands is a lovely quiet place and the beach was lovely and quiet when we were there and plenty of walks along the whole length were a regular thing. Overall Suncroft is lovely and Praa sands, very quiet, but that's how we like it :-)"

"Fabulous location and wonderful views of the sea.The cottage is spacious, clean and comfortable but could do with a bit of minor maintenance around the place. For example one of the sliding windows to the sun room is stuck shut , the other does not lock. The gutters are blocked so when it rains you get a waterfall by the lounge door. The garden could do with a bit of cutting back. All of the white goods worked fine but the fridge needs defrosting as there is a massive ice monster building up. Difficult I know when you have continuous bookings. If you are using one shower at a time the flow rate is very good but set it on max. We did not use the downstairs bedroom but the beds look only suitable for children. We stayed as a couple so only used the main king sized bedroom. The other bedroom upstairs has twins that looked ok but not a patch on the main bedroom so if two couples it might be a bit of a fight as to who got which room. We have rebooked for next year so we were very happy overall."

"We have been coming to Suncroft for over 10 years as we love the location, the views and the tranquility. The cottage is spotless and well equipt and we are looking forward to our next visit in the spring."

Don, October 2020

"Absolutely gorgeous. Location perfect for a tranquil break. Off the grid with nothing but the sound of waves to disturb you. Spotlessly clean and all prepared for our stay. Had a really relaxing break and will definitely be back. My only minor negative was the garden was very overgrown but didn’t stop us totally loving being in it. Really good communication when we had some questions. Want to keep it a secret really but totally deserves an excellent review. "
