“We had an amazing stay in the milkwood apartment, the facilities were impeccable, the view from the apartment was breathtaking. It had everything in it that was needed and more. The only fault I can say about it is that our checkout time was 10am but someone showed up at 9:15 cleaning the hot tub outside the apartment which wasnt very professional as either me or my boyfriend could have not been dressed. It put a lot of pressure on us then in checking out, however this would not stop us from staying here again :)”

“Absolutely fabulous stay, the apartment is well equipped and has the most beautiful views. Hot tub was brilliant.”

“Great apartment. Well thought out. Not a lot to complain about. Negative; you need a car for everything. Top of steep hill. So no boozy dinners and wander home. Other than that; fab place to chill & relax.”

“We have just had a wonderful week at Milkwood. A beautiful apartment which was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The views were spectacular and the added bonus of the hot tub made the holiday extra special. We thought the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed and the robes for the hot tub were appreciated. We will be recommending milkwood to friends and family.”

“Firstly, I have to say my wife and I had a very enjoyable week at the property and would recommend it. The hot tub and the view were excellent. We didn't mind the walk up the hill to the property although strenuous. There are a couple of points we would like to make in that the property could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly. There was dust and grit on parts of the floor of the lounge area when we arrived. As has been mentioned earlier the pots and frying pans need urgent replacement as the non stick coatings are coming off in lumps and the frying pan was dangerous with a loose handle. Finally, the couple upstairs had a dog which peed down the wall one day and if we had been sitting in that spot it would have been very unpleasant. The dog owners apologised but that is not the point. We have seen this mentioned in a review on another property. It seems to me dogs should be banned from the upper apartments. These are relatively minor points and would not stop us going again but putting these points right would make this property excellent”

“A wonderful break away. The apartment was absolutely stunning. Every thing you need is supplied even down to a cheese grater and pizza cutter. Amazing views from the apartment. The only down side was having a family above us with small children. No lie ins for the morning. A nice short stroll from the apartment to the beach but not good for people with walking difficulties as there is a very steep incline to the apartment. Brilliant walks on the beach plus over the cliffs. Only half a hour away from many attractions. Would highly recommend. Plus the hot tub was excellent checked every day by the friendly handy man. You also have throws in the apartment in case you might want to sit on the veranda in the night. So Overall a amazing break away.”

“We booked 2 apartments linked together. They both had hot tubs, were clean and well equipped. The views were wonderful. We would definitely like to return.”
