"Seascape is a place of outstanding beauty. The owners have created a quiet, hidden gem of a place for people to get away from it all. The accommodation is spotless and very well equipped. It has everything although if you prefer alternative entertainment to TV, bring your own cards, games etc. It is the one think it lacks. It had a DVD player etc so again, bring your own. Otherwise, there is nothing to constructively suggest. The shower is amazing!!!"

"Beautiful cottage, tucked between two hills for 100% privacy. The owners had thought of everything - kitchen equipment very well stocked, mini soap bars and alcohol gel bottles, full dishwashing soap & hand soap dispensers, brand new kitchen scourers. The place was immaculate and spotless. They even left us a bottle of wine and some lovely shortbread biscuits. Lovely location to the north of Skye with beautiful drives. We didn’t see the resident deer sadly but did see the local eagle one morning. I suggest turning one sofa around to face the sea as many people did - we spent many hours gazing out everyday. Would definitely recommend Seascape."

The view is to die for, ever changing along the the ever changing weather, fabulous.Slept better here than we did at home in our own beds !!! Extremely comfortable.Secluded and silent, perfect in every way."

"Seascape - What a wonderful place to stay. Absolutely 100% recommended. First day there we had a visit from the local group of deer (who visited every other day after that as well), three buzzards who flew over the cliffs to the left, a wee robin and a wren who were comedy to watch, stonechats, goldfinches and hooded crows! Not to mention one day we spotted one of the lovely sea eagles far offshore across by Rona. This is a place for wildlife, night cam also caught a friendly wood mouse although not much else 🙂 The views are absolutely stunning here, we took advice from other eviewers and turned the sofa towards the window so we could sit and watch the view. One night was full moon and the view across the bay was fantastic, with the moon reflecting on the water, and you could see almost every star in the sky. Didn't manage to see the aurora borealis, but I know some people have from here. Sunrises were breathtaking and although my husband sleeps late I managed to get up to enjoy them mostly every day. Didn't see any dolphins but then it probably wasn't the time of year for them so the cottage can't be blamed for that! The cleanliness of the cottage was second to none, hand sanitiser at the door as well, and handwash and sanitiser provided inside too, COVID precautions well implemented. Cleaning checklists are all available in the logbook for anyone who wants t look. Well-stocked as well, we didn't need half the things we took, lots of kitchen essentials, iron and ironing board, hoover, pots pans, baking trays, cutlery and crockery etc - better stocked then we are at home! 🙂 There is also a washing machine and clothesline for if you want to do your washing (not that we used them!). The beds were super comfy and we slept like logs for most of the week except the Saturday night because Storm Alex hoored in and it was windy and wet. The rest of the week however was so quiet and the place is lovely and secluded and extremely relaxing. The cabin is accessed by a single track road, which wasn't a problem even for our wee VW Up, passed a lot of sheep on the way in and recommend careful driving - quite a few potholes too, but really there's no need for nutty driving because you're too busy passing the fantastic views and driving relatively slowly to be able to take them in! Drove past a sheep waiting for a bus too..... Had a couple of days out and a couple of days in, there is electric heating which is set to come on, but the best part was the log burner, logs and kindling provided on arrival, but we had the burner on every day we were in, toasty! Logs can be picked up locally and Staffin is the best place to do this as it's a half hour/40 min drive to Portree, but Staffin local shop is well stocked as is the village shop. Everything you could possibly want (even bought a cheesecake there for dessert during the week - could quite easily do a grocery shop), and good prices too. All in all we 100% loved this place, Skye is beautiful, the cottage was welcoming and cosy, secluded, and with plenty of wildlife. Two very happy people who had a wonderful anniversary here! :)"

"When I booked this cottage I thought it looked amazing, but when we arrived it exceeded our expectations beyond belief! We wanted a secluded, relaxing and beautiful holiday and that's exactly what we got. The scenery at the cottage if breathtaking, you couldn't ask or need for anything more within the cottage, it's so quiet and very remote. Restaurants, pubs and shops are a little drive away, but that's exactly what we wanted. Skye is a stunning part of the world and this cottage made it even more special. We would definitely go back."

"The cottage is absolutely perfect! It was better than we could have hoped for. The privacy, greenery and views are amazing. The owners have thought of every minute detail that could enhance the experience.. even down to the divine Skye soap in the bathroom. It was all spotless, comfortable and inviting."
