“Very pleased! Would go back again ”

“Unfortunately I had to cut my holiday short due to unforeseen circumstances. However, what a beautiful part of the world and tip top accommodation.”

“Lovely accommodation, ideal for touring surrounding area and Skye. Out of season not much open in the village.”

“We enjoyed our stay in the Holt. We thought we would be able to see more out of the windows from the sofas than we could. The beds were a little hard. The Holt was spotlessly clean. A lot of things in Plockton were closed until 2022 which was a shame.”

“Very nice cottage in a totally stunning fishing village. Plockton was beautiful. The Holt is an upstairs apartment, I have arthritis in both knees and found the stairs a wee bit steep. Accommodation was excellent with double, twin and bunk room. Very clean and attention to detail re covid sanitisation etc. Only one window to offer an outlook which was in the loungedining area. You had to duck down to look out and eyes left to catch the lovely view of Plockton. Straight ahead were the public toilets ! There was no area to sit outside but beyond the public toilets was a picnic table which we made good use of in an afternoon to enjoy our icecream and enjoy the view of Loch Carron. Three excellent restaurants a stones throw from the Holt fish heaven!”

“Greatly enjoyed our stay, beautiful location, 2 pubs with excellent food, bistro, chipshop within 50 yards. Lovely views. Friendly owner, comfortable property.”

“We had a wonderful holiday in Plockton. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It's just a shame there isn't a garden or sitting out area so that we could have enjoyed the splendid weather we were very lucky to have.”

“The apartment is ideally placed by the waterfront in Plockton. The village itself is an ideal base to explore Skye or along the mainland coast. The Plockton Inn is across the road and there are a couple of hotels offering food and drink a short stroll away. There is also a small fish and chip shop right next door. The apartment was up a short flight of steps and three good sized bedrooms with an ensuite off the master. The shower in the en suite was a delight, powerful and hot! The living space offered views across the harbour and was well equipped with everything you'd need. The living flame fire soon had the room warm and cosy, much to my partner's delight but was too warm for me!The owner was available if needed but otherwise left us in peace. I would recommend The Holt.”
