Guest Comments

"Great we cottage in the perfect spot."

Allan, August 2021

"Excellent holiday cottage in all respects. Paying separately a small amount for electricity was an unnecessary task - include it in the price (differentially by the season)"

Peter, July 2021

"We only had one car with us which we parked in the designated place by the garage door. The details state parking for two cars. We were not sure where a second car would be put, as all of the other spaces were, of course, taken by other holiday makers staying at neighbouring cottages. The rotary washing line on the grass in front of the property (other side of the wall) seemed to be in the way and spoilt the lovely view It was not clear whether it was for our use or for others. There was a line in the rear patio garden of Ben View.Very nice property, especially the upstairs lounge."

Susan, July 2021

"Beautiful cottage in superb location.Cottage was particularly well appointed.Only problem was that it was difficult to find. Directions suggested main street in Gairloch, and would have been better to state, main street in Strath. Then immediately after the Hillbilly Bookshop, turn sharp right down a narrow lane."

Alistiar, July 2021

"Great cottage in a lovely part of the World. That was our second time at Ben View and we hope to return one day, it’s a hard place to leave! Thank you."
