Reviews

“Great stay at Crubisdale, owner was very friendly and offered to be reachable by phone but we didn't need to. Location is perfect for Benmore Gardens and Puck's Glen, both a must when in this area. The cottage was huge for our three generation holiday, kids loved having their own room. Views to Loch Long truly great from the elevated position of the house over the road, you barely see the cars going by when seated. Kitchen had everything we needed and we were nice and warm. Local cafe in Blairmore and the Strone Pub both great too.”

“The Cottage was in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views. The locals are really friendly and helpful in telling you where are the best spots to visit. The cottage was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a quiet family holiday.”

“This was a lovely cottage, both bigger and cosier(!) than we expected. Lots of thoughtful touches, and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Fantastic view and window in the main room. Recent rain meant we had a waterfall as well as a stream in the garden very pretty! We would love to come back and see the place in the summer.”

“Bungalow was perfect for us, most of the furniture is quite old, but perfectly adequate. The cottage has everything you need and its only 20 minutes to the local town of Dunoon. The views are epic, the weather blows in and out. The bungalow has great heating, the rooms without radiators have standalone heaters. Because it was quite wet, the bungalow would benefit from a tumble drier. There are 2 streams in the garden 1 to the front and 1 to the rear, so bear this in mind if you have very young children. There is enough parking at the front for about 6 cars, we had 4 cars and a boat, ample room. The cottage is deceptively spacious, as there are no pictures of the front of the cottage when you find it you land mark it with the end of the path and next to a big White House with a union Jack flag blowing in the wind.Highly recommended one of the best.”

“Clean, well equipped bungalow.Great location, 8 miles from Dunoon, fantastic view out to the firth. The tearoom at the pier has the best custard creams!Unfortunately the local bar is shut Mon Thurs so didn't go there but in Dunoon, The Lorn has good food. Coop and Morrisons plus 3 petrol stations nearby, forest walks and the drive to Tighnabruaich is scenic.”

“Had a brilliant time. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could need. The pictures on the site don't do it justice. The view from the front windows is amazing. I would definitely book again. Loved the log burner. My only negative is maybe put a picture of the from of the cottage on the site so it is easier to find.”
