Scw, June 2021

"Cottage had an excellent variety of electrical equipment the only item which was not provided was a two pin s, socket for my electric shaver, otherwise excellent and well equipped."

Howard, June 2021

"Lovely holiday Very quiet which was just what we wanted and some beautiful scenery."

Margaret, May 2021

"Thoroughly enjoyed our week in Tigh An Uillt. The property was spacious and airy with fantastic panoramic views of Loch Fyne from the front windows. The accommodation was pristine and the information board/area was very useful with loads of information on relatively local walks for all abilities. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and cook a variety of meals. There was snow on the mountain tops when we visited but the bungalow was beautifully warm. The bird feeder outside the kitchen window was well visited by chaffinches, great tits and blue tits. Would highly recommend. The owner was very friendly and helpful on the phone prior to our visit"

Fiona, May 2021

Colin, October 2020

"Spent a lovely week here and thoroughly enjoyed watching the ever changing Loch Fyne. We came to relax and that is exactly what we did. Views from lounge and front bedroom windows were wonderful. The cottage is very well equipped and was very clean and had been well prepared in light of current Covid advice. All in all an excellent stay."

Margaret, October 2020

"Enjoyed a lovely week at Tigh An Uillt. Plenty of information provided in advance of the holiday regarding travel directions, shopping etc. and the owners were quick to answer queries both in advance and during the holiday. The cottage is perfectly situated on the banks of Loch Fyne with superb views from the lounge and master bedroom. We were impressed with the measures taken to protect visitors and housekeeping staff during the pandemic and were provided with antibacterial sprays, hand gel etc. We were required to take our own towels which meant wedging them into the already full car but we felt this was a sensible precaution. The cottage is very well equipped which meant cooking was not the challenge it can sometimes be in holiday rental properties. Strachur is a small village with one general store/post office which also doubles for a cafe. The Creggan Inn is a 1 mile walk from the cottage. Inveraray where there are more cafes etc and a reasonable sized Co-op is a 25 minute drive around the head of the loch. Overall the perfect place to de stress."

Sandra, September 2020

"Lovely week at this cottage, comfy bed, nice fire some nights when the weather outside was horrid. Great views across Loch Fyne changing each day, sunshine/mist/rain/sun going down gorgeous.."
