Conveniently, the local pub is just 2 minutes walk and there is a small bistro on the harbour front which is open throughout the day, an ideal refuelling stop after a walk up to the waterfalls on the River Almond. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

"Almond View is a lovely apartment. It doesn’t seem like a city flat because of the beach and scenic view. It is great for dog owners as there are some good walks on the doorstep and there is a holiday feel about the place, probably as Crammond is popular with local walkers and cyclists. The flat is cosy as well as spacious and we found it comfortable. It is quite easy to get into central Edinburgh. We drove, but the bus service looks good and we may try that next time. There is noise some nights from a bin lorry below the apartment, on the down side and parking isn’t always easy, but we really enjoyed our stay and have booked to go back and that probably says everything"

"Great location Cottage situated on harbour next to the beach Beautiful scenery Easy distance to town but you wont want to leave Cramond ! Lovely coffee shop, Gallery and pub in Village Much interesting local history and great walks up the River out to the Island and plenty coastal places to explore The cottage is fresh cosy and modern with all the character of the village cottage Good sized rooms tastefully decorated extremely clean with comfortable beds Large TV and fantastic views looking out onto the pretty harbour and far stretching sea towards the Forth and Fife"

"We chose the cottage for its location.Easily accessible to Edinburgh via 41 bus or car.Further more the wonderful views, walks and cycling opportunities on the door step The owner was friendly and helpfull and the cottage was spacious, warm, comfortable and tastefully furnished. "Fabulous apartment with stunning views and an ideal location for getting into centre of Edinburgh. The owner met us and explained everything, there were even two small bottles of wine and biscuits as a treat. The apartment had everything we needed, although a slimline dishwasher and a washer/dryer rather than a washing machine would have been a bonus! Lovely walks from the doorstep, comfy warm apartment we will definitely return."
