Reviews

“Lovely cottage, great location, shame about the weather. Your own transport would be better though as the remote location could leave you a little exposed. The local shop was closed for the most part and when open had very few products. This is partly understandable given the time of year.”

“A truly wonderful cottage and location. This whole trip surpassed our expectations not just the accommodation but Ellenabeich is a lovely tranquil, friendly place with a great history. The local pub was very welcoming and the views were just breathtaking.”

“Our 3rd visit to Misty Isles and certainly not our last. This is our go to place to get away from the world and relax for a week. Always delivers exactly what we want and the changes that have been made since our last visit are perfect. It is what it is, amazing views, peace and quiet and the pub next door is excellent. The hot tub finishes it off perfectly. We had amazing weather for November, clear blue skies and starry nights, crisp but clear.Kirsty was an amazing host as always and delivers a beautiful property. We have a full and busy 2022 but will be back in 2023.”

“This is our 5th visit to Misty Isles. We love it and try to come once a year as it is one of our favourite places and cottages. We never get tired of it. Cottage is in a fantastic location to visit various islands in the inner hebridesslate islands. Great if you like the great outdoors and exploring. Another trip out with Seafari which is opposite. Saw some fantastic wildlife. We have booked for next year.”

“We have had a great week at Misty, weather fantastic, sunny and hot every day. A very relaxing experience this time again, cottage immaculate inside. Sitting in the hot tub looking at the stars at night was a treat. Lots to do and see around Ellenabeich, lots of nice walks and plenty of interesting wildlife to see, locals very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to booking again next year.”

“A small fishing cottage next door to a pub which serves lovely food. When entering the accommodation the view through the accommodation was amazing. The open plan kitchen and living room with patio doors to the rear looks directly out to sea and one night has we sat watching was visited by a pod of dolphins. Theres an outbuilding at the back with washing machine ,freezer and barbecue .The hot tub was lovely and clean and you look out to sea while seated in it.The bedroom also has patio doors which look out to sea aswell. will definitely return.”
