Located in a peaceful cul de sac on a private beach estate, Sealight is a 4-bedroom beach house with wonderful sea views and direct access to Elmer Sands beach. It has a 700 sq. ft south facing open kitchen/ living/dining and its unique upside down layout allows the most sociable spaces to enjoy beautiful panoramic sea views. Sealight has two private gardens separated by a small footpath. The house garden has a hot tub. The second garden has direct access to the coastal path and Elmer Sands beach. As there is no public car park nearby the beach is never crowded. It is Ideal for paddleboarding and two paddleboards are available for our guests.

The coastal path and beach are right outside the garden gate. To the West the coastal path goes to Bognor and beyond which at most tides can be walked on the beach. To the East the trail goes all the way to Littlehampton and follows a rare stretch of undeveloped coast, a shingle beach with sand at low tide, backed by fields.

Private parking for up to 3 cars and a private electric car charger.

The location: Sealight is located in the private estate of Elmer Sands in the coastal village of Elmer next to Middleton-on-Sea and near to Chichester and Goodwood. To the West is Bognor Regis, and to the East is Littlehampton. It is also just a few miles from the South Downs and historic Arundel, with its 11th century castle. The village of Elmer has a medieval church, a couple of pubs, a one-stop grocery shop and a pharmacy, and Middleton-on-Sea next door has a Butcher, News agents, an award-winning Fish and Chip shop, and a number of pubs are within easy reach. Great shops and a cathedral can be found in Chichester as well as its natural harbour, and the market town of Petworth with its famous antique shops is half an hour away.

“Wow! The house is everything you would expect in a house literally on the beach. The first floor living area looks seaward. The open plan arrangement combined with cosy furnishings means you can watch the changing skies over the sea from sofas, beanbags, breakfast table or out on the cleverly screened private balcony. The kitchen has everything you need and the bathrooms have a luxury feel. Downstairs, the bedrooms are equally light and airy and smelling of the sea - which is at the end of the garden. We swam at high and low tide and entertained the dog along the same stretch. Meanwhile our grown up kids lounged in the hot tub when not lounging about the house. We were lucky with the weather all but one day but even then we got to the beach and into the sea twice between dramatic thunder and lightning filled skies. Sophie was an extremely attentive host despite being on holiday herself. Apologies to husband and kids but I am going back with my girlfriends.....!”

“Amazing mini break!Wow is the best place to start! It looked exactly as the photos but the feel for the property once you are in is wow and we automatically connected and relaxed. We took our 5 and 8 year along with our 6 month old puppy and everyone of us was catered for! The lovely hamper and wine on arrival didn’t last long and within minutes the kids were in the hot tub. The highlight for me personally was that I relaxed away from work instantly and the walks along the beach each day, morning and night were brilliant. I am already looking for a date we can come back!”

“Absolutely amazing place, love the layout with communal space upstairs to fully utilize the views. Plenty of equipment in kitchen so we could cook together, hot tub was lovely ( although bring flip flops to get across grass!) , tv and music all set up, and the whole house was decorated beautifully. “We really enjoyed the house, it was lovely! Everything was very clean and we loved having all the rooms. The kitchen lounge was lovely to chill out in, very spacious. The table is great to sit at, over looking the sea. Loved sitting on the balcony looking out. So gorgeous, we had an amazing time. It was really good as the host provided essentials like mini shampoos, fairy liquid, soap, kitchen roll and towels.We enjoyed spending our evening sat in the hot tub which was very warm and lovely!The host is super and gave us lots of great information about the local area and what we could do.We went out to a few of the pubs which was really good, enjoyed the food at the Berefords had amazing food and a lovely vibe, then we went to the Elmer and enjoyed the darts and pool table. “This is a beautiful holiday home. You will have views of the sea from a large balcony. A beautiful very large garden area for the kids to play. Sandy and pebble beaches are a 3 min walk from the back door. Sophie excelled in offering an amazing home for us to stay in for a short break. The house is a bright airy and a very clean space. With all of the patio doors and velux windows open, and a beautiful day of weather, it was truly splendid. Sophie goes above and beyond making a very real effort to please.
