The immediate area offers excellent walking cycling and mountain biking with the Fife Coastal Path that passes through the village too. If you are a fan of Outlander then three of the film locations are within easy reach - Culross Doune Castle and Midhope Castle. To the north of the village water sports enthusiasts can enjoy canoeing sailing and open water swimming on Kinghorn loch. Fishermen are also well catered for with sea river and loch fishing available close at hand. Within easy reach of St Andrews the home of golf and the cities of Edinburgh Stirling and Perth with their excellent leisure and shopping facilities making this all a fantastic base for your holiday.
