Guest Comments

"Cottage was very comfortable and everything was provided for a self catering holiday. The only negative point I would mention is that the television is too small."

John, November 2018

"Comfortable cottage with great views of the Tay. Well-equipped and a good location."

John, October 2018

"Wonderful cottage, above scoring says it all. Lovely host. Would recommend to all"

Harvie, October 2018

"Beautiful cottage, luxurious and welcoming. Our second stay there and hopefully not our last."

Clare, October 2018

"Lovely property. Very well equipped and comfortable. Very good for local buses and trains and we didn't use the car all week. Liked the lovely view and the under floor heating. The TV could do with being a bit bigger like other customers have commented. Broughty Ferry has lots of choices to eat and drink with in walking distance."

Mary, September 2018

"Excellent cottage, would have no problem recommending this to friends. It is very comfortable and well equipped, with a great place to sit out the back on a nice evening. Only minor point would be to upgrade TV in keeping with the quality of the rest of the cottage."

Peter, September 2018

"Fabulous cottage. Everything spotlessly clean & fitted out with everything required. View over the Tay with yachts sailing, plus the trains passing the end of the garden made it all the more interesting. A short walk into Broughty Ferry which is full of restaurants, cafes, pubs & boutiques. A bus stop a few yards from the door which takes you into Dundee City."

Anne, August 2018

"Another wonderful week at Bridge Cottage. The location is perfect and Broughty Ferry was looking perfect in the sun. The cottage is lovely and bright and airy, it has the feel of an art gallery. The owner, Marnie is lovely and helpful. The only improvements I would like would be an synthetic double duvet available as an alternative to feather in the main bedroom as I am allergic and a larger television as it is a very small screen. Over all perfect stay and can't wait to return next year!"

Hazel, July 2018

"Our party of three had never visited Fife nor Angus before and found, in Bridge Cottage, the ideal location from which to make good these omissions. Situated in the quiet outskirts of Broughty Ferry the cottage overlooks the wide expanse of the Tay estuary and was a joy to return to in the evenings. With its stone floors, clean interior, excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities, sun room, patio garden, narrow but quite accessible private driveway and parking space, we have no hesitation in recommending this property to future guests."

Tom, July 2018

"Our third stay in this beautiful cottage . You couldn't ask for more , it has everything you could need including a perfect position for access to Dundee and a short stroll into Broughty Ferry . Book this cottage and you won't be disappointed."

James, May 2018

"This was our first visit to Bridge Cottage but we were so won over by it that we are booking another stay next year. As others have mentioned, the driveway to the cottage is narrow and, if your car is a bigger one, it's best approached from the Dundee side. Although our vehicle is quite large, we managed to turn it at the end of the drive with several turns. The pluses of Bridge Cottage far outweigh the narrow drive. The views are great. The river Tay is very close and there is always something happening on it from the nearby Royal Tay Yacht Club to commercial shipping. Watching the changing skies, the sunsets and the moonlight on the river is part of its attraction. The cottage has been well thought out and there's everything you need for eating and drinking. Although it can accommodate four, it's probably best suited to either a couple or a couple with two children. We'd say it's perfect for a couple! The walk along the riverside into Broughty Ferry takes ten to fifteen minutes - depending on how often you stop to look at the view or the eider duck swimming in the river. Broughty Ferry has plenty places to eat, delicatessens, designer shops and grocery shops. Dundee, with an even bigger range of shops and eateries is a short drive away or there are buses and trains. Marnie, the owner, is very helpful and lives not too far away if you need anything. It's probably fair to say that this is one of the best cottages we've stayed in."
