After soaking up the sea breeze, make your way inside to be dazzled by an open-plan living space, with windows encompassing those extraordinary views of Bigbury-on-Sea and the surrounding sea in the distance.

Continue to the impressive kitchen with it's stunning views where sleek white fittings are complemented by black worktops and host an amazing range of appliances, including a handy dishwasher, American-style fridge/freezer and double electric oven.

After the chef of the group has rustled up a tasty meal, grab a bottle from the wine cooler and head over to the grand dining table, where you can savour a dinner in front of those views.

After dinner, make your way over to the stylish sitting area, where you can settle down with your group on the great selection of seating as you cosy up to the TV and woodburning stove whilst still watching the dance of light on the sea and Devon skies.

The younger members of the group can progress through the ground floor to find a snug that beholds ample games and books to entertain themselves with.

Before bed, throw any sandy clothes in the utility room's washing machine, and continue to the ground-floor bathroom, where you can enjoy an indulgent soak in the shaped bath. Climb the stairs to find four fabulous bedrooms, each with spectacular sea views, the first one being a super-king-size that boasts dual-aspect windows that give the space a bright and airy feel, whilst also being served by an en-suite shower room.

Continue along the corridor to find another double room featuring stylish purple accents and an en-suite shower room; the kids and extra guests can also rest their heads in the delightful single room and a zip/link twin that can be changed into a super-king-size to suit your sleeping plans.

There is a wonderful self contained integrated annexe that sleeps 2 in a double bed and 2 in a sofabed complete with shower room, sitting room and kitchen, With fabulous views, this is indeed a haven for those wanting their own space.

The rear garden is a stunning suntrap, with a sloping lawn hosting a selection of seating areas to soak up the sun and drink in those spectacular views of the sea from any point; the garden also hosts a barbecue so you can savour a spot of alfresco dining.

Why not venture into Bigbury-on-Sea where you can bask in the sun on Bigbury Beach, before walking to the top of Burgh Island, stopping off for welcome refreshment at the charming Pilchard Inn.

Venture to Challaborough by foot along the South West Coastal Path or by car, where you can find your amenities in one setting, with a well-stocked convenience store and The Waterfront bar & Restaurant at your feet, before continuing on to Bigbury Golf Club or the idyllic Ayrmer Cove.

Travel further afield to Salcombe for some retail therapy and a variety of eateries to enjoy. Beautiful National Trust areas such as Hope Cove and Snapes Point, the surrounding bays and countryside are waiting to be discovered. Thurlestone is just a short drive away and also features an abundance of beachfront fun, whilst the market town of Kingsbridge offers a pretty estuary and local treats.

Bigbury-on-Sea is located within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, lapped by shallow waters, with a stunning beach that offers safe swimming, as well as being dotted with rock pools for exploring, so is very popular with families. Enjoy a selection of watersports, including windsurfing and kite-surfing, with hire facilities located right on the beach. Lifeguards are present at Bigbury-on-Sea Beach during peak season (May to September) and the beach is pet-friendly, although they are restricted to certain areas during the summer. Burgh Island, Bigbury’s most famous landmark, overlooks the beach and is accessible at low tide, or at high tide you can hop on the unique ‘sea tractor’. Burgh Island boasts an award-winning hotel, which has had many famous guests over the years and boasts an art deco style.
