Relax in luxury in this beautiful house with picture windows overlooking the stunning loch and mountains beyond.. Carron House is a superb, contemporary, detached house set in its own generous gardens and enjoying stunning loch and mountain views. Situated in the quiet hamlet of Slumbay, just over a mile from the pretty West Highland village of Lochcarron, Carron House provides a high standard of accommodation in a beautiful and unspoilt setting.

The main entrance opens onto a spacious hall/dining area with solid wood flooring, high ceilings and glass panels that drink in the light. French doors open onto the patio area with the garden beyond. The living room on the ground floor has a welcoming wood burner and one of the sofas can be used as a sofa bed for two extra visitors, if required and there is a spacious shower room on the ground floor. A wide staircase leads up to the first floor with the landing area doubling as a second living room with comfortable seating and a large picture window that maximises the wonderful views across Loch Carron to the hills beyond. There are three attractively presented bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and double basins, and a further separate family shower room.

The nearby village of Lochcarron is situated right on the shores of the loch, surrounded by the spectacular hills and mountains of Wester Ross. The village has good facilities, with a number of pubs, cafés and shops, as well as a golf course which is open to visitors. The area is also a haven for wildlife where otters and seals can be seen along the shore-line and dolphins have been spotted in the bay. The surrounding area provides some of most scenic locations to be found anywhere in the Highlands. A trip to Applecross via the highest pass road in Britain is a must. Known as the ’Pass of the Cattle’ and rising to over 2,000 feet, it affords amazing views across The Minch to the isles of Raasay and Skye. A paradise for lovers of the great outdoors, there are unlimited sporting opportunities such as climbing, hill-walking, fishing, canoeing, diving, sailing and cycling, all available locally. Beach 100 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.. Ground Floor:

Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and en-suite with bath and toilet.

Bedroom 2: With twin beds.

Bedroom 3: With single bed.

Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included, remainder at cost. Welcome pack. Large enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 2 dogs welcome free of charge, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 4 cars. "You will be able to choose any one of the following three options if we or the accommodation provider cancel your booking, or if you cancel your booking because UK government public health measures mean that it is unlawful to travel to or make use of the accommodation you booked:
Full refund - we will refund you the full amount you have paid for your booking.
Transfer to a later date or different accommodation - subject to availability, we will help you move your booking to a later date or even a new location or accommodation with no admin fees, but please be aware that if the cost of your new accommodation is higher than your original booking, then you’ll need to pay the difference.
Choose an e-voucher to rebook your holiday online - you can request an e-voucher for the amount you have previously paid for your booking. You can then use it to book a new holiday online or towards another existing booking, without having to call us. Vouchers issued in 2020 are valid until 31st December 2020 and can be used on holidays departing before 31st December 2021.

If you choose to cancel your holiday before your balance due date, then we will waive your liability for the remainder of the balance and no further amount will be collected from you. If you choose to cancel on or after your balance due date, then you will need to pay the cancellation charges (according to the number of days before the start of your holiday) as set out in the cancellation charges table which you can find in your booking conditions, as well as any applicable booking fees, admin charges or insurance premiums that you owe. *If you have booked a property that is stated to sleep 10 people or more and your booking begins between 1 September and 31 December 2020, your balance due date will remain at 12 weeks prior to the holiday start date as set out in the booking conditions."
