“Another excellent stay at the Old Timberyard in Woodmans cottage, lots of room for a family of 5 and great amenities, highly recommended.”

“On arrival the cottage was well presented. Milk and coffee were provided, a nice touch. The cottage was large and the rooms very generous size. The beds were comfortable. Overall it was a nice experience and we found it to be relaxing. The owner lives next door and was helpful but never intrusive. It was a very quiet location and an ideal location to get away from it all. There were some nearby walks that we made use of with the dogs. I would book again. If I had a negative it was that the internet, the signal was weak and found it better to use my own mobile EE account.”

“I stayed with my extended family at Woodmans Cottage, Carters Cottage and Sawmill Cottage. We had a fantastic time. The cottages are all well equipped and beautifully presented and are in an ideal location for walks and driving to Weymouth, West Bay and Lyme Regis. The owner lives on site and was really helpful. I would definitely go back.”

“Lovely big property plenty of bathrooms (there were 2 couples and two singles). Nice enclosed garden for the dog. Beautiful kitchen, if there is a large group of us to go away again we would defiantly go here.”

“Large comfortable cottage, close to the local pub. Good areas to walk dogs. Friendly locals.”

“Very well appointed and well furnished cottage. Good parking. Had everything we needed. There were things like dishwasher tablets etc, the things you might forget! Easy to communicate with owner who was very nice. Local pub very nearby. A bit of a walk to beach but we managed it! Not sure if there's a local shop, we didn't really check as we bought lots of things with us and went shopping whilst we were out. Would highly recommend. Were there for 3 nights, as there were 7 of us, the cost worked out reasonably well overall. The one downside was that check in time is quite late, 5pm, and check out time in morning quite early 9am so had to be very organised and plan our arrival and departure days to make most of our time. Can't fault it though. Very nice place to stay. Nice to be able to stay in a place that would allow us to bring dogs. Garden secure.”
