“We had a lovely holiday at Lia Fail. The owner (revoo wouldnt allow his name!! ) is delightful and very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Even got us a blender for my friend to use for her special diet. The cottage was warm, clean, had everything needed in a holiday cottage and had plenty of room for three adults and two children. Location was perfect near the A82, meaning all the places to visit were easily accessible. Ballachulish itself is a great little village, with a Coop, great pub serving delicious food and a chippy! Will definitely stay again when we next visit the Highlands, we didnt want to leave.”

“This was an excellent situated property in small village, just 10 minutes walk to Glen Coe and a 20 minute drive to Fort William and Ben Nevis. In the small village was a lovely cafe (with a shop), a really good pub with good food (advisable to book a table) and a very good fish and chip shop. There was a wonderful wooded walk at the back of the village with led from a gravel pit up into the woods and back into the village. Just 2(ish) miles round trip but a lovely walk. The house was lovely and clean with all the cooking equipment you could ever need. Upstairs had en suite facilities and downstairs a great shower and family bathroom. There was sky tv and very comfy sofas. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, very clean and good cooker and microwave. All you could want. John the owner was extremely helpful and very nice. This was a well needed holiday in a gorgeous part of Scotland. I would recommend the Steall Fall waterfall which was at the base of Ben Nevis. Stunning views and a lovely walk (quite hilly but very doable for all abilities). We had fairly good weather which didn't ruin any of the days we were there.”

“Weve just had the most amazing week in Glencoe which was really made by staying at Lia Fail. From initially booking through to chatting to the owner prior to the holiday the process was great. The cottage itself had so much space for me, my partner and my three teenage kids and couldnt have been better equipped. The owners have thought of everything to make it a home from home and the location was just perfect. Well definitely be returning!”

“We had a lovely holiday at Lia Fail. It is comfortable, clean and well equipped for cooking meals for hungry teenagers. The bedrooms are all a good size, in fact the cottage seems a lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside! The location is great and walking is easy to get too. We could go for long walks then come back to the cottage to relax and catch up on the Olympics. The Wifi was fast and reliable which kept the teenagers happy!”
