“Viewhill Villa was a home away from home. We had everything we needed. It was very handy for the town centre but in a quiet neighbourhood. We got all the necessary information from the owners. We booked this cottage because of a personal recommendation and have since recommended to other friends.”

“Really pleased with this house. A short walk to the centre of Inverness; as we were travelling by train this was extremely useful. The house was very clean and comfortable. As the house has no bath, only a shower, it would have been better to have a slightly more powerful delivery. This was the only (very minor) issue. We would definitely consider a revisit. It was also pleasing that Scotland has a sensible covid19 prevention strategy and the vast majority of people follow the guidance!”

“This was our first time staying at Viewhill Villa and I have to say that it totally exceeded my expectations. The photos really do not do the place justice it's huge! There was 5 of us staying for the first part of our holiday, and it can sometimes feel like you are getting in each other's way when there are that many people, but I didn't once feel that in this house. We also really appreciated all the little extra touches, such as toiletries in the bathroom, the huge snack tray, and milk in the fridge. The house also felt very clean and airy for anyone worried about safer stays. It was only 5 minutes walk to town which was extremely convenient, but it isn't noisy at all.Overall, Viewhill Villa gave us the perfect base for our holiday. It was a pleasure to stay there and I cannot recommend it highly enough.”

“The home was very comfortable and had everything you needed for your stay. The host had left a welcome pack on the kitchen countertop and also a few items in the fridge. We had an issue with the oven on our 2nd day but the host brought around the manual for us to troubleshoot the problem. There is a washing machine at the home but no outside rope rotary line or tumble drier. There is a large rear garden so a rope rotary line could be placed in the rear garden easily. The only item we could see was a folding clothes airer in the summer house for airing small clothes items.Only two other downsides being 1. living room TV is small for such a large living room.2. kitchen is very small with only one possibly two people being able to be In there at any one time.Overall, thank you for the use of the home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in staying in this home again in the future.”

“It's like home from home, starter pack left in kitchen like tea bags, milk, juice, biscuits... is a bonus. Host so helpful and friendly. Addressed a problem straight away and he made sure we are comfortable during our stay. Would appreciate if they leave a emergency mobile phone number. Cos of our deafness, a landline number is pointless.”

“We loved staying at Viewhill Villa. The cottage was spotlessly clean and we felt really at home. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival, the garden was gorgeous and the location central yet very quiet. We would definitely visit again.”

“Spacious house and garden with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Ideally situated just a few minutes walk from the city centre for shopping, castle, river walk, restaurants etc. Friendly and helpful owners, would definitely recommend!”

“We wanted a place close to the centre of Inverness with parking, that is why we chose view hill villa, a nice surprise greeted us in the kitchen, thankyou. Very comfortable beds with plenty of storage and space. The only negative was no heating in the dining room, we where there in May and needed the heating on in the evening so we where unable to use the dining room. Large enclosed garden. Just another note is watch out for the arch way on the drive, we have an estate car and had to take a wide angle to get in. It was nice to see the full bird feeders, very nice to sit and watch the birds. We would highly recommend this property and we would stay there again.”
