“Had a lovely stay at Samhach Lodge to celebrate my 50th birthday. Lodge was beautiful with everything we needed and more. The owners were very friendly, helpful and understanding. The hot tub was amazing after a day exploring in the Lakes. Would highly recommend and we have already booked for next year.”

“This lodge is ideally situated for exploring the Lakes & Cumbrian Coast. It is secluded & quiet. A great pubrestaurant within waling distance & a short drive to town. we thoroughly enjoyed are stay. Although dog friendly which is great! dogs are requested to be kept on the lead at all times as there is livestock close by & the garden isn't enclosed by a fence.”

“Lovely, spotlessly clean, well equipped lodge in peaceful location and lots of nice places to visit just a short drive away. Only downside was not being able to access the surrounding woods for walks.”

“We had the most wonderful stay at Blenkett Wood, we are already looking into staying again sometime next May or June! The lodge was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Warm and cosy, lovely natural light during the day and great blinds for the eveningnight with blackouts in the bedroom. My only comment on the lodge would be that it would be lovely to have a cover over the hot tub. We didnt have the best weather while we were in Cumbria and didnt have anywhere dry to keep our towels and robes while in the hot tub.”
