Kitchen/dining room: With double electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.

Utility room: With washing machine and tumble dryer.

Second Floor:

Formerly The Old Haberdashery, Woodyear House has been beautifully restored yet still has the charm of yesteryear.

Step inside and climb the original grand staircase with its ornate design. At the top of the stairs, you’ll be wowed by the stunning view of the entrance to Cowes harbour and you’ll want to collapse on the comfortable sofas or step out onto the balcony and watch all the activity below.

Set on the first floor, the open plan living area has a design that’ll take your breath away. Bright and spacious, the living area makes a sophisticated spot to curl up on the sofas with the rest of your group and enjoy the harbour views.

The four bedrooms are just as impressive as the rest of the property, and if you follow the staircase down to the ground floor you’ll find the master bedroom and the second bedroom. Speaking of the ground floor, this is where you’ll find the furnished balcony, perfect for those lazy afternoons sat by the quay with a glass of something chilled.

Set on Cowes high street, Woodyear House is just moments from the resort’s restaurants and harbourside. The house is less than a 10-minute walk from Cowes seafront, and 1-minute from the ferry.

This property has a Security Deposit of £200

The property will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival and check out time on the day of departure is 10am.

The property is equipped with everything you will need including utilities, bed linen and towels.


A security deposit of £200 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.

“We stayed for a week. There were 6 adults, two children and a dog. I have to say we set the bar high here. The accommodation is just stunning. The previous reviews are correct. It is tired in places and there are some things that could be sorted (door handles etc). But, the location, space, the fact it has 4 bedrooms, all ensuite is amazing. We loved our stay and really couldn't fault it. The only sad thing is that we tried to book again for next year, but it seems the accommodation is no longer taking bookings. If anybody can enlighten us on this please do as we want to go back.”

“A wonderful holiday cottage right in the heart of Cowes. We knew that parking wouldn't be overly convenient nor would arrival and departure be as smooth as having onsite parking, but we coped without too much trouble. Any inconvenience was more than compensated by the quality of the accommodation and the location. Some of the appliances in the kitchen could do with better maintenance or replacement especially the hob and the kettle, but as we mostly ate out this was not a real problem. The nearby bakery on High Street is amazing! Being dog friendly the stains on the lounge carpet are to be expected. All in all we would certainly return to Woodyear House.”

“After reading previous reviews we were worried house wouldnt be up to our expectations. But house was perfect. Very clean, and had everything we needed. Showers all worked perfectly. Beds were very comfortable. Living room a brilliant size for all of us and a wonderful view out to sea. A perfect dog friendly home. The front door lead straight onto the high street. With a local marks and Spencers and a Sainsburys very close by. Car park not to far away. We parked at red jet ferry to unload and drove to carpark in the long stay £35 for the week. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again. Dont let previous reviews put you off ”
