Offering parking, a well-appointed interior brimming with homely charm, and a supreme location just a stone's throw from the nearest amenities and the historic site of Lews Castle, this charming dwelling makes a terrific base for a couple seeking a refreshing, self-catered retreat to Scotland.

Step into Creed Cabin and feel instantly at home in your delightful new abode. Get cooking in the well-equipped kitchenette, whipping up a delicious dinner for two that can be savoured at the dining table, or for an alfresco affair, step outside onto your very own private decking, where you can raise a glass of your favourite tipple to toast your getaway. When the sun sets, refresh with a rejuvenating shower before you finally settle down for your precious rest in the plush double bed.

If you can tear yourself from your tranquil new base, set out to explore what your local area has to offer. You'll find an abundance of interesting things to do and see within a brief stroll of Creed Cabin. Enjoy a spot of tea at the Bridge Centre Café, before you pop into The Good Food Boutique, a local deli selling artisanal foods and essentials for you to tuck into back at the cabin. Soak in nature with a calming walk along the Creed River, viewing majestic herons as they swoop and glide overhead.

Head on foot into Stornoway to take the dog for a walk around Lews Castle Grounds, brush up on history at the Museum & Tasglann nan Eilean, or even catch a live performance at the An Lanntair art centre. After a day spent walking, surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, wild swimming on the stunning hebridean beaches, warm up and increase your wellbeing in your very own in Cabin sauna or venture further with the help of a Brompton Bike hired from their lockers located in the town.

Further afield, delight in an afternoon of whale and dolphin watching at Tiumpan Head, snap photos of the impressive, ancient Callanish Standing Stones, spend a day on the sands of the breathtaking North Tolsta or Eoropie beaches, or head up to the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse, which dates all the way back to 1862, to enjoy unparalleled views of the North Atlantic Ocean and the rugged coastline.

Make memories in Scotland with your nearest and dearest by booking Creed Cabin.

Stornoway is the only town in the Outer Hebrides and is a bustling and growing area with a busy working harbour, a great selection of shops selling local gifts including Harris Tweed, leisure facilities and wonderful award-winning restaurants selling locally sourced food of the highest quality. Lewis is a place where the lilting Gaelic language is spoken everywhere! Visitors to the town will find plenty to keep them occupied, the magnificent Lews Castle Grounds and the iconic Lews Castle, many good museums and art galleries and also a smart golf course and clubhouse. The large, quiet sandy beaches are close by and provide visitors with wonderful views and the town itself forms a great base for a holiday exploring the unique islands that form the Outer Hebrides. On the north west side of Lewis you can visit the village of Arnol with its Blackhouse Museum, an unmissable visit for anyone wanting to understand the way of life that was once widespread in Lewis. Carloway Broch is nearby and is another fascinating landmark and incredibly well preserved. The Callanish Stones from the Neolithic are also well worth visiting. The whalebone arch and numerous Iron Age dwellings on stunning Bosta beach make for great days out. The friendliness of the local people will astound visitors to the islands and you cannot fail to be impressed with the genteel and contented pace of life you will encounter here.
