When it’s time for some rest, two exquisite bedrooms await – a four-poster double bedroom and a king-size bedroom, each a lavish haven of comfort and style. With Cardiff city centre just a 5 minute walk way, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to entertainment and attractions. The city boasts several must-visit attractions, including Cardiff Castle, a magnificent medieval fortress that showcases the city's rich heritage. Sports enthusiasts can catch a game or take a tour at the iconic Principality Stadium, while art lovers can explore the impressive collections at the National Museum. The shopaholics will be spoilt for choice whilst the musically inclined can visit the Wales Millennium Centre in popular Cardiff Bay which is a hub for performing arts, hosting a variety of world-class shows and events. Nature enthusiasts meanwhile can unwind in the picturesque Bute Park or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the scenic Sophia Gardens. Venture towards the coast and the town of Barry, home to a golden beach on Barry Island, along with plenty of landmarks such as those that can be seen in popular BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey. The historians in the group could venture northwards to explore Castell Coch or Caerphilly Castle or head underground and back in time to sample Welsh history at the Big Pit National Coal Museum. The capital city of Wales has much going for it as the destination for an exciting and memorable holiday. A vibrant city, Cardiff offers a fabulous selection of shopping facilities, from high street chains to independent shops and galleries. There are plenty of pubs, restaurants, and cafes, along with a growing street food scene ensuring you’re never far away from tasty fresh cuisine. A range of nightclubs and bars mean the city stays open long into the night. Theatres, galleries, museums and venues offering live music mean visitors seeking culture are well catered for, while sports fans will love visiting the Millenium Stadium or Cardiff Bay Water Activity Centre. Cardiff Bay is a wonderful place to while away the day, perhaps visiting the Senedd, home to the National Assembly of Wales, or taking a boat trip round the harbour, before indulging in some laidback waterfront dining in one of the many bars and restaurants. For sci-fi fans, the Dr Who Experience is one not to be missed. Should you wish to head out of the city, you will not be disappointed. The cities of Swansea and Bristol, the Brecon Beacons National Park, Forest of Dean and the Pembrokeshire coastline are all an easy day trip away.
