Beautiful Wadebridge Holiday Home

Rest and recharge in this romantic bolthole in the quaint village of Little Petherick, just 5 miles from Padstow. There are some beautiful walks directly from the property, or you can head to the coast to join the dramatic South West Coast Path (5 miles), or journey inland to the wild and remote heathland of Bodmin Moor (13 miles). After a long walk, enjoy a glass of wine of your peaceful patio and take in the beautiful landscape.

The cute, single-storey cottage is decorated and furnished in a traditional style, with little touches throughout to make the property feel like a home-away-from-home. The bright and airy lounge is a delightful place to unwind after a long coastal walk, curled up on the plump sofa, warming your toes in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire and admiring the woodland views. The separate kitchen/diner has everything you need to rustle up romantic meals for two, to enjoy together at the dining table by the window. An inviting king-size bedroom and a spacious wet room complete the property. Outside, a sunny patio awaits, with garden furniture and fabulous views of the surrounding countryside.

You’ll find plenty to see and do in the harbour town of Padstow (5 miles). Known for its spectacular array of eateries, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to sampling local produce and fresh seafood. From the harbour, board a boat to go wildlife watching off the coast, or hop on the ferry to visit the upmarket resort of Rock. Keen surfers will enjoy a trip to Polzeath (12.5 miles) or, to get away from it all, pack a picnic and head to one of the secluded coves surrounding Padstow. Along the coast, the lively seaside town of Newquay (14 miles) makes a fun day out.
