Aldeburgh (3 miles) is a beautiful location which has inspired many creatives over the years, boasting a shingle beach, characterful boats and merchants selling local produce from huts making the town well worth a visit. From here, you could join the Suffolk Coast Path towards Dunwich (11 miles) for a challenge, or Thorpeness (2 miles) for a shorter trail, both of which offer picturesque viewpoints along the way. In Thorpeness, you could also try your hand at watersports on the Meare with the option to choose your vessel from a selection of boats, kayaks and more.
