Delightful Bonchurch Place to Stay

Experience island living at its finest at this chic ground-floor apartment just a mile outside Ventnor. Sleeping six people over two bedrooms, it’s great for families or groups of friends in search of a peaceful retreat to call home while they discover the Isle of Wight together. Spend a happy morning exploring the rock pools on Bonchurch Beach (300 metres) before heading into Ventnor (1 mile) to discover its beautiful botanic garden. In the afternoon, head into Shanklin (4.5 miles) to admire its pretty thatched cottages and quaint tea rooms. Take a stroll through the lush gorge at Shanklin Chine before you head back to your cottage for dinner.

Pull into your private parking spot and take a moment to appreciate this small cluster of coastal retreats sitting among rolling hills. Step inside your apartment and you’ll find a sunny open-plan living space bathed in natural light from two sets of patio doors. Sleek fixtures and elegant design touches provide a warm welcome as you unwind. Cook up a treat in the stylish kitchen area, share a sociable meal in the elegant dining area, or stretch out on the sofa to catch up on your favourite TV shows. When the day is done, there are two chic bedrooms waiting for you – a king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a king-size with a flexible zip-and-link bed that can be converted into twins upon request. A smart family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the layout.

Outside, you’ll find an enclosed south-facing garden with privacy panels and ranch-style fencing. Sun loungers and outdoor furniture make this an elegant spot where you can enjoy your morning coffee or sip on a sundowner.
